Heights Visual Ensemble
The Heights visual ensemble provides students the ability to excel regardless of their experience.
There are two different groups within the visual ensemble offering students the opportunity to develop their color guard skills as they desire and strive for their personal best.
Varsity Group: The varsity group performs at the highest level and enourages high levels of accountability and achievement. Placement into the varsity group is based on ability that is assessed during the fall marching band season, and/or audition. The varsity group meets in class, during the school day, and after school for performances; rehearsals are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The guard class meets all year long, with most performances between January and April.
JV Group: The JV group (Junior-Varsity) is a non-cut ensemble that is designed to develop every student performer and their individual skills. The jv group meets in class, during the school day, and after school for performances. The guard class meets all year long, with most performances between January and April.
